As an Account Development Executive, you will be part of the Sales & Engagement organization at NielsenIQ. Your core mission will be to generate revenue across existing and new accounts while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction with our products and services.
We are seeking a self-driven team player with a strong bias for action—someone who can “find a way” through challenges and seize opportunities. You will build strong networks, collaborate across functions, and handle a variety of assignments requiring strong communication and commercial acumen. Prior exposure to NielsenIQ retail measurement data is a plus.
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including renewals, upselling, handling daily inquiries, demoing NIQ solutions, and building account plans with product specialists and customer success teams
Develop client proposals, costings, feasibilities, and responses to RFPs
Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client experience
Deliver Sales business targets with a strong client-centric sales mindset
Create, maintain, and deepen client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and advocacy experience from NIQ services
Identify and approach whitespace opportunities to expand the client base; Present NIQ’s value proposition to prospective clients through tailored pitches
Champion a growth and sales mindset within the organization
Build and deliver annual operating plans for the assigned accounts, achieving revenue and cost objectives
Manage pipeline and forecasts, lead sales meetings, and maintain internal trackers with full KPI adherence
Serve as the voice of the client internally - and the voice of NielsenIQ externally
Represent the NIQ brand, through events, presentations, and professional engagements
About you
You’re naturally curious and energized by understanding what drives markets and consumer behavior. You are a proven salesperson capable of building and executing a successful commercial strategy.
You work well in teams, collaborate effectively across functions, and contribute meaningfully to NIQ’s broader Sales organization. You listen actively, uncover client needs, and translate them into opportunities using NielsenIQ’s unique suite of data and solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
Fluency in Greek and English language
2 to 4 years of working experience and proven sales achievements (preferably in Market Research/ Sales/ Marketing/Trade Marketing)
Strong strategic sales and business development competency
Excellent client management and relationship building skills, with the ability to converse with stakeholders in clients’ organizations, up to C-Suite level
Solid understanding of market data and its strategic applications
Experience in related B2B industries, including CPG, consultative sales, or similar fields
Mastery of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, along with strong negotiation skills
