You will be the Iberostar Employer Brand Ambassador within the hotel. Your main role is to ensure the fast and effective integration of new hires, as well as providing daily support to the rest of the team.
Responsibilities include:
Facilitate a fast and effective integration process for new team members, welcoming them during their first few days and conducting onboarding tailored to their role and profile.
Provide personalized follow-up for new hires at onboarding survey milestones, identifying opportunities to improve integration.
Promote employee well-being, motivation, and engagement by executing initiatives and actions established and standardized by the Engagement COE (Center of Expertise).
Align all actions with the strategy defined by the Engagement department, ensuring consistency with the values, culture, and objectives of the Iberostar Employer Brand.
Identify training and development needs, guiding employees on available options within Iberostar CAMPUS and career advancement opportunities.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, routing suggestions, concerns, or areas for improvement to Management or HR.
Monitor and analyze work climate, turnover, and absenteeism indicators, proposing action plans in collaboration with Management and the Ambassador Coordinator.
Assist in conducting work climate surveys, analyzing results with Management, and proposing and tracking action plans for each department.
Conduct exit interviews and record their findings, encouraging departing employees to complete the exit survey sent via email.
Oversee the condition of staff facilities—including locker rooms, common areas, and the employee cafeteria—ensuring optimal standards and generating dual reporting for Management and the COE.
Support internal communication efforts by sharing relevant information regarding benefits, sustainability challenges, the use of Starteam, and corporate channels.
Participate in meetings with Management and departments, following up on requests related to the team and their work environment.
Support staff accommodation inspections when applicable, ensuring employee well-being and suitable living conditions (without participating in room allocation or accommodation management).
Actively collaborate with the Engagement team in gathering data to measure and analyze key metrics for the area, such as the EEI (Employee Engagement Index).
Identify potential or active internal conflicts, informing Hotel Management and participating in the conflict resolution process.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a key focus on enhancing the work environment. Highly adaptable and team-oriented, they drive proactive problem-solving with initiative, transparency, interpersonal sensitivity, and strong commitment.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotels or HR. Experience in the hospitality sector, specifically in Deputy Management or Guest Service roles, is a plus.
University degree in Tourism, Law, Labor Relations, or a related field. A Master's degree specializing in HR will be positively valued.
English language proficiency at B1 level or higher.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite, especially spreadsheets and presentation software.
Strong focus on improving the work environment by finding solutions that best suit both the company and the employees involved.
Flexibility and adaptability to change.
Residency in the area.
Hotel Opening: 1st of November 2026.
