Join the Wallet 1P Integrations team and help make Wallet an indispensable part of the Google experience! This role zeroes in on our crucial Gmail, Photos and Android integration, powering actionable, intelligent passes in Google Wallet. You'll enhance how we save and use data for receipts, flights, events, loyalty programs, and more, directly impacting millions of users.
Recent launches include improved Gmail, Chrome and Android passport saves to Wallet and autofill from Wallet. Upcoming projects involve expanding Gmail to parsing more attachments such as PDFs and images, and expanding to new, scalable user experiences on Android.
Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.
Develop, test, and maintain features for importing pass data from Gmail, Photos or Android into Google Wallet. This includes verticals such as receipts, flight reservations, loyalty cards, event tickets, offers, and hotel reservations.
Design and implement new features, improvements to existing features, and UI building blocks, with a focus on maintainability and reusability within the Google Wallet Android app and in Google Play Services modules.
Participate actively in code reviews, providing and incorporating feedback to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Product Managers, UX, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
