Senior
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Engineer II - Cybersecurity & Data Protection Advisor to drive cybersecurity and data protection initiatives across CPS products, platforms, and services. This role will serve as a trusted security advisor to engineering teams, ensuring that security, privacy, and compliance requirements are embedded throughout the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will lead data protection programs, support incident management activities, collaborate with networking and infrastructure teams, advise on secure architecture designs, and ensure compliance with internal cybersecurity policies and applicable data privacy regulations. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, governance knowledge, stakeholder management, and hands-on cybersecurity experience.
Serve as the cybersecurity focal point for CPS development, cloud, and engineering teams.
Provide security and privacy guidance during architecture reviews, threat modeling, and design discussions.
Drive adoption of secure-by-design and privacy-by-design principles across CPS solutions.
Review security assessments and provide risk-based recommendations for remediation.
Lead data protection initiatives across CPS products and services.
Perform data flow analysis and data classification reviews.
Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards including GDPR and global privacy requirements.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and product teams on privacy-related requirements.
Support cybersecurity incident response activities and post-incident reviews.
Coordinate with product teams, SOC, and infrastructure teams during security incidents.
Track cybersecurity risks and drive mitigation plans to closure.
Facilitate risk assessments and support threat intelligence-informed decision making.
Review cloud, application, and infrastructure architectures for security compliance.
Provide guidance on authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, and secure communications.
Support security controls implementation for cloud-native and hybrid environments.
Contribute to cybersecurity standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
Act as the primary liaison with enterprise networking and infrastructure security teams.
Coordinate security reviews related to network segmentation, firewall policies, WAF deployments, secure connectivity, and remote access architectures.
Support resolution of infrastructure security findings and compliance gaps.
Support execution of cybersecurity governance activities.
Assist teams in meeting corporate cybersecurity requirements and internal security policies.
Provide evidence and technical support during internal and external audits.
Develop security metrics, dashboards, and management reports.
Work closely with engineering, product management, DevOps, cloud operations, networking, legal, and compliance stakeholders.
Communicate cybersecurity risks and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Drive cross-functional collaboration for security improvement initiatives.

7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, security architecture, data protection, or related fields.
Experience supporting enterprise software, cloud platforms, IoT, industrial systems, or digital transformation initiatives.
Proven experience working with cross-functional engineering teams in a global environment.
Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), operational technology (OT), or Industry 4.0 environments.
Experience supporting global privacy programs.
Familiarity with AI security and security requirements for AI-enabled products.
Experience implementing security controls within Agile/DevSecOps environments.
