We are looking for a:

Maintenance Technician (shift work) (fulltime 40 hours per week)

Maintenance Technician, this is your challenge Within our factory, various food supplements are supplied as bulk, filled and packaged into different final articles on our packaging lines. As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure that our Fill & Pack lines run safely, reliably and efficiently in line with company policy on (food) safety, quality, and compliance.

Because you work with machines and use (semi) automatic filling and packaging machines to make food for consumers, attention to hygiene (HACCP) and safety is very important.

As part of our Operational Production team, you work according to a 2-shift schedule from Monday to Friday, working one week from 06:15 to 14:45 and the other week from 14:30 to 23:00.

In the future, this position will transition to a 5-shift schedule. We are therefore looking for candidates who are willing to work in a 5-shift schedule in due course.

As a Maintenance Technician, you have the following responsibilities:

• Performing preventive inspections and maintenance in collaboration with suppliers and service providers.

• Detecting, reporting, registering, and following up on machine deviations in existing systems; digital knowledge is a plus.

• Solving mechanical and electronic malfunctions on machines.

• Participating in LEAN production and continuous improvements for a safe and efficient working environment.

• Management of machinery including machine parts and technical tools.

• Working according to safety and work permit procedures (5S, LOTO, TRA).

As a Maintenance Technician, you report to the Factory Engineering Manager and are part of the Almere factory of Nutrition & Health.

This is what you bring for the Maintenance Technician vacancy:

• Communicatively skilled and a good command of the Dutch language.

• MBO-3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Mechanical experience in a production environment.

• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.

• SAP experience is a plus.
