Your goal is to enable end-to-end observability for CCH IT Products across a highly integrated landscape, ensuring optimal application performance, enhanced business outcomes, and improved customer experience. You will design, implement, and manage observability solutions that proactively predict and prevent performance issues, facilitate faster troubleshooting, and reduce mean time to repair (MTTR).
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead cross-functional alignment on architectural decisions related to observability.
Assess and select the most suitable observability solutions, considering factors such as development, customization, integration, and maintenance.
Define and architect the enterprise-wide Full Stack Observability framework, ensuring a unified view across all technology layers (Applications, Infrastructure, Cloud, Processes, Network, and UX) with real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Own the design and delivery of observability solutions in collaboration with technology partners, Product Managers, Architects, and business stakeholders.
Establish key observability metrics (KBIs), meaningful alerts, and dashboards to track system performance and detect anomalies.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for monitoring solutions, architectural frameworks, and roadmap planning.
Identify critical business transactions and build corresponding monitoring designs within complex projects.
Analyze critical incidents and performance trends, providing diagnostic insights and proactive recommendations (including out-of-hours support when necessary).
Optimize resource efficiency for more reliable and productive systems.
Ensure end-to-end ownership of observability tools, including implementation, maintenance, and upgrades.
Align observability solutions with DevSecOps practices, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and automation.
Educate Product Teams and vendors on best practices for leveraging the observability platform
Expertise in Observability Platform (Dynatrace):
Implement monitoring solutions for various use cases (incl. SAP), including agent installations, middleware configurations, dashboards, alerts, OpenPipeline, DQL.
Strong knowledge of Dynatrace SaaS architectural elements and network communication flows for components such as Oneagent, ActiveGates, custom Extensions, OA Command line interface.
Engineer the platform for advanced configuration and standardization, including data buckets, custom metrics, tag rules, policies, and access management.
Integrate Dynatrace with enterprise processes (e.g., ServiceNow ITSM & CMDB, event management, CI/CD pipelines).
Align SLA-driven monitoring and reporting based on onboarded applications with SREs.
Serve as a key stakeholder for gathering, analyzing, and translating observability requirements across teams, presenting insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
