We are seeking an IPT Voice Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco Unified Communications and VoIP technologies to support global enterprise customers. The role focuses on incident resolution, service availability, and operational excellence within IP Telephony environments. The individual will contribute to maintaining high service standards through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of voice infrastructure.
Manage incidents across IPT/IPCC environments, ensuring timely resolution aligned with agreed SLAs
Perform change management activities including moves, adds, and deletions following standard processes
Support configuration and implementation of Cisco voice solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SIP, H.323, MGCP protocols and voice gateways
Carry out performance monitoring, trend analysis, and preventative maintenance
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues
Participate in customer calls and provide technical updates and solutions
Maintain and enhance knowledge bases, documentation, and inventory systems
Support server maintenance and restoration activities
Professional with 3+ years of experience in VoIP/IPT engineering
Strong technical knowledge of Cisco IPT, CVOICE, and Unified Communications
Good understanding of IPCC and ICM environments
Proficient in voice protocols such as SIP, H.323, and MGCP
Hands-on experience with voice gateways and troubleshooting
Relevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
Certifications such as CCNA/CCVP or similar are beneficial
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues effectively
Collaborative individual able to work across teams and functions
