Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Cabin AfterSales Buyer (m/f) to join our Cabin Procurement Aftermarket (PCRS) team based in Toulouse, France.
Come and join the Cabin Procurement Aftermarket (PCR) team, a truly multicultural team located in Hamburg, Toulouse, Lisbon, and Montreal, supporting Airbus Customer Services activities.
The position is within the PCRS team, responsible for procurement activities for the STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) Solutions Program department and the ACJ (Airbus Corporate Jet) department. The STC Solutions team is an integrated team (Engineering, Airworthiness, Program, Quality, Procurement, and Logistics) valuing the "One Team, One Goal" culture. It provides certified STC cabin and cabin system modernization solutions to airlines and lessors for the modification of in-service aircraft (dedicated team, processes, suppliers, and Kit Factory). The department also supports in-service aircraft modified by STC Solutions and by former Airbus subsidiaries (Airbus Interiors Services, Airbus Corporate Jet Center, and Sogerma).
As a buyer, you will be at the heart of the STC multifunctional team to provide the best purchasing service to the STC Solutions program organization. Integrated and co-located with the program team, you will collaborate with project management, engineering, supply chain, etc., to deliver the best solution (lead time, quality, cost) to our customers. The position is dedicated to hardware products, raw materials, and labels (Placards), and you will work closely with the buyer in charge of detailed and structural parts.

Your challenges:
Be the primary contact for Airbus's Purchasing organization for Aftermarket Cabin topics. If necessary, participate in performance review meetings, support escalation and operational excellence, and stimulate innovation.
Negotiate with suppliers the best contractual and purchasing conditions in accordance with company requirements.
Lead calls for tenders (CFT), supplier selection, and contractualization processes.
Negotiate contractual agreements between Airbus and suppliers within the defined scope, ensure their execution by Airbus & the supplier, and manage contract update activities if necessary.
Ensure that commercial offers for cabin modernization campaigns provided by your suppliers comply with contractual agreements and/or key commercial conditions.
In the event of in-service incidents, negotiate commercial conditions to minimize the associated financial exposure.
Monitor contracts and ensure the full application of their terms and conditions throughout their lifespan.
Upon finalization of commercial negotiations, ensure timely creation of Non-Recurring Cost (NRC) purchase orders and timely loading of prices in SAP/AMOS.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Represent PCR within sub-multifunctional teams (Sub-MFTs), provide contributions, trigger escalations, and influence discussions and decisions if necessary. The objective is to achieve the best purchasing strategy and commercial results by combining the needs and levers of line-fit and aftermarket.
Be responsible for the Purchasing function's contribution to pre-sales quotations for the STC Solutions program activity. Coordinate the team around this deliverable.
Participate in the development of a sourcing strategy to support the growth of the STC Solutions program (market knowledge, competitive assessment, supplier landscape).
Contribute to sourcing activities to develop new suppliers to support STC Solutions program activities.
Support the Procurement Operations team in qualifying new suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance in conjunction with Procurement Operations. Update and develop relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Contribute to aftermarket cost reduction projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the preparation of management meetings.
Support the STC Solutions program in supplier relations.
Launch Requests for Quotation (RFQ) based on needs extracted from the ERP.
Record prices, lead times, and contractual conditions in the ERP to enable Procurement Operations to place Recurring Cost (RC) orders.
Prepare Non-Recurring Cost (NRC) purchase orders and ensure their follow-up.
Manage work packages from other buyers if necessary.
Your boarding pass:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Purchasing, supplier management, or sourcing. Experience in Customer Service and/or Contract Management is a plus.
Engineering or business school degree with a technical background in Cabin scope, or Cabin engineering with a commercial background.
Proven communication skills, persuasiveness, and assertiveness, especially with supplier representatives and internal stakeholders.
Team spirit, ability to work in a multifunctional and multi-site environment.
Creative and innovative, with the ability to quickly become autonomous and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
Proactive, constructive, and business-oriented attitude.
Ability to deal with strategic topics and interact at the highest management level.
Customer and results-oriented.
Technical expertise & tools: Sourcing strategy, contract management, KPI monitoring, proficiency in ERP/SAP/AMOS tools.
Languages: Negotiation level English required. Any other language is a plus.
Special conditions: Possible on-call duty on weekends and/or holiday periods.
