Hours Worked: Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week. However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
Position Summary:
The Biologist I will be primarily responsible for the organization, preparation, and analysis of clinical and preclinical samples. Proper documentation and lab notebooking are essential in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan and run commercial ELISA testing and perform data analysis
Run MSD and focus on method development and analytical troubleshooting
Operate and maintain the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to register, sort, track and aliquot clinical and preclinical samples, ensuring accurate sample identification, chain-of-custody and data integrity throughout the sample life cycle.
Use liquid handler automations including Tecan, Hamilton and other robotic systems
Maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment including centrifuges, pipettes, spectrophotometers, ELISA readers, as well as specialized equipment necessary to support the laboratory
Perform Western Blot testing
Record data in Electronic Lab Notebooks
Assist with sample management and inventory management
Knowledge of analyzing data with familiarity to Excel and other analytical techniques
Comply with clients and company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies
Follow guidelines set forth by clients and in the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
Other duties as defined by manager, department needs and workload
Comply with clients and Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System.

Education and Experience:
Compensation Range: $24.00-$26.00 per hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as location, education, experience, and skillset).
