We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer who will play a key role in providing process engineering professional and technical support to the operational/manufacturing functions to continuously improve operational performance. The role will also examine equipment, processes and/or systems by applying scientific, mathematical and economic principles in order to implement and execute continuous improvements meeting the highest Nestlé standards of engineering integrity, product quality, safety and environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the technical integrity and performance of processes complies with Nestlé and regulatory requirements
Monitor plant and processes to ensure optimal operation
Identify opportunities to remove bottlenecks, quality constraints and etc. so that line and equipment performance is constantly improving
Liaise with Production, Quality and Engineering to resolve technical issues
Initiate and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) to achieve industrial process and plant optimization
Develop and manage agreed projects and ensure completion to time and budget
Use best practice repository and benchmarking with partner factories / markets for continuous improvement
Possesses specific technical competencies to convert raw materials to finished products
Provide technical leadership in specified production, wrapping or fill and pack processes
Train the team on manufacturing process, technology and standard operating procedures
Coach and mentor the members of team to increase productivity and efficiency by facilitating MBU concept
Ensure the capture and dissemination of process engineering knowledge
Facilitate and coordinate the introduction and implementation of new processes/technologies with local, corporate and PTC engineering
To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by the Company or any other person by or under the OSHA Act 1994 or any regulation
To coach, train, and motivate the MDT1 teams in the achievement of Q, S, C, P targets
To maintain good working discipline and formally appraise the performance of his subordinates
To develop and conduct training when necessary including identification of training needs of his subordinates
To implement SHE SOP’s and participates in identifying and resolving potential safety and environmental hazards for SHE
To ensure that all engineering activities are comply with Environmental Laws and Regulation
To minimize the impact of all engineering and production activities on the environmental pollution
We're Looking For:
Degree in Engineering Field, preferably Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
Minimum 3 years experience in a technical field, preferably in a food manufacturing facility
Willing to be assigned in the Chembong Factory in Negeri Sembilan
