Job Description

As a Lead FinOps, you will analyze cloud-related expenses, identify potential savings, and define the organization, processes, and tools to embed the approach in teams' daily routines. You will work closely with the CIO and financial management of our clients to ensure predictability and maintenance of cloud spending while guaranteeing the stability of technical environments with architects.

Your missions:

• Analyze and implement cost optimization actions on various cloud services, especially IaaS resources

• Deploy and manage tools to help identify cost trends, anomalies, and track the budget (actuals versus forecasts)

• Define and monitor budgets according to client needs (per account, per project, per cost center, etc.)

• Work with technical teams to design and implement new services in the most cost-effective way possible, but also identify possible optimizations for existing services

• Work with financial teams on budget, forecasts, labeling, and FinOps KPIs, as well as SLA analysis and reporting requirements

Qualifications

Your assets to join us:

Infrastructure and automation consultant, from an engineering school or a Master 2 in computer science, you have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sense of service and quality. You like to work in a team, and speak fluent French and English.

You have professional experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, as well as a confirmed knowledge base in Windows Server, Linux and Kubernetes environments.

You wish to assert a professional trajectory towards infrastructure automation and Private or Hybrid Cloud subjects (AWS, Azure, GCP, OVH).

How does the recruitment process at Devoteam work?

It includes 2 to 3 interviews:

• Talent Acquisition Interview: the objective is to review your skills, your English level and to validate your motivations

• Tech & Business Interview: this interview aims to deepen your technical skills and to check their adequacy with our needs during an exchange with a business expert

• Leadership Interview: it allows to evaluate your potential, your ambitions and to consider your evolution within Devoteam.

We prefer at least one in-person interview. A reference check is requested and, depending on your profile, tests (technical, English, personality...) may be sent to you.

If your application is successful, we will send you an offer presenting the terms of employment. In case of acceptance, the employment contract is formalized.
