Job Description:

Within the Electronics Business Area, we are looking for an HSE Specialist/ASPP to join our Brescia office.

The person will be responsible for the following activities:

• Supports the site HSE manager in analyzing and evaluating Health and Safety Risks in the Workplace, identifies environmental aspects and manages them, and drafts the relevant documents.

• Analyzes the ergonomics of workstations and the machine/operator interface.

• Supports the management of environmental, health and safety authorizations, maintaining compliance and ensuring the planning of necessary interventions for the maintenance of authorizations, also in relation to organizational, production and layout changes.

• Manages the site's HSE aspects, to ensure the monitoring of HSE processes and performance.

• Supports the safe management of work and contract agreements.

• Supports the site in applying HSE governance standards and disseminating best practices.

• Manages the disposal of waste produced, chemical products, emissions, water, soil and subsoil.

• Manages the maintenance of HSE compliance, ensuring the adoption of the certified management system according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

• Monitors KPIs to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the HSE Management System, in line with company guidelines.

• Prepares the required HSE documentation.

• Supports the management of HSE investments and costs, with the aim of improving environmental and workplace safety performance, in collaboration with the HSE Project & Improvement function.

• Identifies procedures to follow in case of emergency, monitoring their progress and effectiveness, and supports the employer's delegate in emergency management, also by participating in the site emergency board.

• Collaborates with the Competent Doctor for the management of health surveillance.

• Supports the analysis of accidents, near misses and events (Unsafe Act, Unsafe Condition and medical treatments) ensuring the analysis of root causes.

Educational Qualification:

Engineering or STEM technical degree, preferably with specialization courses in environment, health and safety at work (ASPP) or similar qualification.

Represent a Plus:

• Previous experience in medium/large metalworking companies and/or construction sites and specific training and management on ergonomics;

• Preference for HSE Manager certifications according to UNI11720, NEBOSH or a course on accident investigation (Root Cause Analysis -RCA, TAP - Root) or specialization in ergonomics.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations with specific reference to the mechanical sector;

• Emergency management, management of environmental issues (waste, remediation);

• Ergonomic evaluation of workstations;

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards;

• Knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/08 and Legislative Decree 152/06.

Availability to travel within Italy for participation in meetings with the Divisional HSE structure and/or specialization courses on HSE topics.

How does the selection process work?

Following the collection of applications, the CVs most in line with the required qualifications are evaluated and identified.

Selected candidates undergo an introductory interview with the Human Resources team, motivational and aptitude, followed by a technical in-depth interview with the Business.

At the end of the process, the person receives feedback, both in case of a positive and negative outcome.
