Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrate mastery of a wide range of assembly operations such as operating machinery, packaging products, building products and soldering.
Learning advanced skills such as product rework, machine maintenance, and interpreting engineering drawings.
Relies on experience to solve problems and build different products.
Meets the quality and productivity standards of the department.
Applies knowledge to teach others and improve processes.
Demonstrates initiative and desire to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
Be aware of safety issues within assigned area.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Required Qualifications
Assembly experience and/or skills required. Work within established safety and quality standards Ability to work overtime as required Ability to work within minimal supervision Knowledge of manufacturing processes in assigned area Basic knowledge of department’s production business system Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s)

Physical Requirements
Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently Sit and/or stand at least 8 hours Vision correctable to 20/30 or better Differentiate color Reach Bend Kneel Twist Grip Pinch Fine finger dexterity sufficient to handle and place parts with precision and accuracy for at least 8 hours
