Manager - Customer Satisfaction & Quality (CSQ) / Manufacturing Quality Manager

The Manager - Customer Satisfaction & Quality (CSQ) is responsible for leading manufacturing quality assurance activities, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the plant. The incumbent will lead a team of quality professionals, implement industry best practices, and ensure robust quality processes throughout product realization and manufacturing operations.
Drive customer satisfaction through proactive quality planning, defect prevention, and rapid resolution of customer complaints.
Lead quality assurance activities across electronic product assembly manufacturing operations.
Establish, maintain, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with applicable industry standards and customer requirements.
Monitor key quality metrics and drive actions to achieve world-class quality performance.
Conduct management reviews and ensure closure of quality-related actions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methodologies.
Drive implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 8D, PDCA, and other operational excellence practices.
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
Analyze quality trends and identify opportunities for process optimization and defect reduction.
Lead and ensure effective deployment of:
APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
FMEA (Process & Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
Control Plans
SPC (Statistical Process Control)
MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions
8D Problem Solving Methodology
Support new product introduction activities with quality planning and process validation.
Ensure compliance with process control plans and manufacturing quality standards.
Lead process audits, layered audits, and system audits.
Monitor manufacturing quality performance and implement preventive actions.
Validate process changes and assess related quality risks.
Ensure product quality throughout assembly, testing, and final inspection stages.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team.
Build organizational capability through coaching and training on quality methodologies.
Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, and Customer Quality teams.
Act as the primary quality interface for customers.
Lead customer audits, quality reviews, and corrective action programs.
Support supplier quality improvement initiatives and quality issue resolution.
Ensure effective containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline.
Master's degree is an added advantage.
10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or Customer Quality within the Electronic Product Assembly Industry.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing quality teams in a managerial capacity.
Proven experience in implementing and improving Quality Management Systems.
