Requirements

• Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computer Science or related field.

• Minimum experience of 4 years as a Java Developer.

• Experience in Backend application development.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum).

• Experience working with Git version control.

Indispensable technical knowledge

• Java 8, 11 or higher.

• Spring Boot.

• Spring MVC.

• Spring Data JPA.

• Hibernate.

• Development and consumption of REST APIs.

• Advanced SQL.

• Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

• Maven or Gradle.

• Postman.

• JUnit and Mockito.

• Microservices

• Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.

Desirable

• Docker.

• Kubernetes or OpenShift.

• Kafka or IBM MQ.

• OAuth2 / JWT.

• SonarQube.

• Checkmarx.

• Hexagonal Architecture or Clean Architecture.

• Experience in the financial or banking sector.

Main responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements.

• Develop and maintain mission-critical Java applications.

• Design and implement microservices.

• Develop and consume REST APIs.

• Integrate applications with different systems.

• Optimize SQL queries and business processes.

• Prepare unit and integration tests.

• Participate in code reviews and deployments.

• Attend to incidents and provide production support when required.
