Mid-Level
The Assistant Logistics Manager plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operational execution of our Amazon and third-party e-commerce business. Partnering closely with the Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for managing order flow, inventory movements, shipment coordination, fulfillment performance, and operational issue resolution while serving as a key liaison between Amazon, internal teams, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and systems proficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of operational tasks while ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and a seamless customer experience.
E-Commerce Operations
Manage daily operational execution for Amazon and third-party e-commerce accounts, including order flow, inventory availability, fulfillment performance, and returns
Partner with Key Account, Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to ensure inventory and delivery commitments are met
Monitor operational KPIs including fill rates, inventory health, shortages, chargebacks, and delivery performance, escalating and resolving issues as needed
Maintain accurate inventory, shipment, and order information across internal systems, Amazon platforms, and 3PL partners
Investigate and resolve operational discrepancies related to inventory, orders, shipments, and customer fulfillment
Amazon & 3PL Coordination
Coordinate daily operations with Amazon and 3PL partners to ensure timely and accurate receiving, inventory movements, fulfillment, and shipping activities
Serve as a primary point of contact between PUIG, Amazon, and 3PL partners, ensuring operational requirements and service levels are met
Track inbound and outbound shipments and proactively resolve transportation, shipping, and inventory issues to maintain uninterrupted product flow
Ensure system updates and operational processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Inventory & Returns Management
Support inventory planning and execution, including inbound tracking, transfers, cycle counts, adjustments, and reconciliations
Perform inventory reconciliation activities and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels across systems
Manage and streamline the returns process in partnership with 3PL and internal teams, ensuring timely resolution and accurate inventory updates
Implement and maintain tracking processes for inventory and shipment visibility, supporting Amazon compliance requirements
Projects & Peak Readiness
Coordinate operational execution for special projects, including holiday sets, gift-with-purchase programs, launches, and seasonal initiatives
Support readiness and execution during high-volume periods, ensuring inventory, fulfillment, and transportation processes operate effectively
Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Support the Logistics Manager through operational reporting, inventory analysis, issue resolution, and day-to-day execution activities
Partner closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and external partners to ensure seamless operational performance
Support documentation, SOP development, and process standardization to improve consistency and accuracy
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field (preferred)
3-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce operations, inventory management, or order management; Amazon and/or 3P experience strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of operational tasks accurately
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) with the ability to analyze operational data and identify issues
SAP experience strongly preferred
Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central is a major plus
Experience with inventory management, inventory reconciliation, order management, and shipment tracking processes
Comfortable working across multiple systems and adhering to established operational processes
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve operational issues
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and flexibility to travel to warehouse locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania up to three days per month

As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $80,000.00 - $85,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
