Based in the Mirabel facilities, the mechanical maintenance technician reports to the supervisor. They are a member of the Industrial Means team, which brings together more than 15 dedicated professionals ensuring the proper functioning of all the infrastructure at the Mirabel plant. Travel is negligible.
Responsibilities The mechanical maintenance technician is responsible for executing the existing maintenance plan, responding to service calls, and ensuring the proper functioning of production equipment by maintaining them in optimal condition.
Missions

Diagnose and resolve any equipment malfunctions.

Perform preventive and curative maintenance interventions.

Complete breakdown reports.

Use CMMS software (parts search, plan, work range, etc.).

Participate in breakdown analyses.

Exchange and communicate with the maintenance team and various internal departments.

Contact the technical services of different manufacturers, if necessary.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.

Update work ranges and electrical plans, in cooperation with the reliability engineer.

Update lockout sheets.

Participate in equipment updates and improvements.
REQUIRED PROFILE
College diploma in industrial mechanics, candidate with 10 years or more of experience in a similar position.
