Within the MRP, Planning & Logistics Processes & Governance Area, we are looking for a Logistic Engineer to join our site in Cascina Costa (VA), Italy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Logistic & Material Management unit in providing the Logistic budget. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the whole Operations organization;
Support the definition and minimization of plant material handling and optimization of internal warehouse flow;
Cooperate with Logistic & Material Management unit to identify improvement and efficiency initiatives. Perform B/C analysis. Monitor and report progresses of the relevant logistic projects launched;
Act as BPO-Business Process Owner for Digital Solution initiatives in the Logistics area, taking decision responsibility and ensuring that decisions are coherent with business objectives. Train and support plant key-users in adopting new solutions/processes;
Support the Plants in the management of Logistic service provider activities;
Monitor and analyse Logistics Cost Deployment;
Support the definition of packaging requirements towards the external supply chain ensuring coherence to the standards defined within the Leonardo Production System;
Define and standardize logistic procedures and processes within logistics area. Moreover, share among plants the logistic best practices;
Manage the Governance of Transports supporting Logistic & Material Management unit and Transportation Control Tower;
Define, Monitor and analyse logistic KPIs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related business discipline;
Seniority: junior 1–3 years of experience
Technical skills and competencies:
Soft skills:
Language skills: Excellent command of the English language (B2/C1 level)
Digital skills: competency above a basic level with the following software systems: MS Excel, MS PowerBI, SAP ERP, MS Power Point.
Additional requirements: willingness to travel
