Within the Cyber & Security Solutions Business Area, we are looking for a Project Engineer Manager for the Genoa Fiumara office, with the possibility of employment also at the Rome Laurentina and Turin offices.

The resource will be inserted into the Defense & Government Business Line of Business (LoB) which has the mission of managing the divisional business with reference to Clients belonging to Public Administration (central and local) and Defense bodies. In particular, they will be inserted into the "International Defense & Joint Ventures” Business Area for the management of Leonardo's international digital and Cyber programs, including GCAP (Global Combat Air Program) in collaboration with primary foreign partners.

The person we identify will be responsible for:

• Coordinating teams involved in the implementation of IT projects (including classified infrastructures) to support Defense programs in the areas of Data Center, Cloud, Cyber security and telecommunication networks;

• Interacting with internal resources and suppliers, supporting the Project Manager throughout the duration of the project;

• Managing program meetings with project referents (Leonardo divisions, Leonardo program coordination structures, Joint Ventures, Ministries of Defense);

• Contributing to the creation of technical documentation, e.g., SOW (Statement Of Work), HLD (High Level Design), LLD (Low Level Design), Executive and As Built Design, Testing Standards (NVCA);

• Verifying the effective quality, compliance and delivery of technical content and deliverables;

• Analyzing operational scenarios, collaborating in the definition of technical proposals, economic evaluations, drafting of technical offers and estimation of costs of the proposed solutions;

Education:

STEM degrees, preferably in IT.

Seniority: Expert. +3 years of work experience in similar contexts required. Experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector or on projects with high security requirements (classified systems) is a preferential factor.

Technical and IT skills and knowledge:

• Knowledge of Data Center contexts and operational rooms for the provision and access of Cloud or private Cloud services;

• Experience in managing confidential and classified information for the provision of collaboration services, secure document exchange, access to technical engineering software;

• Knowledge of monitoring services, IT Service Management and Cyber Security, advanced data security solutions;

• Technical experience on Data Center solutions and related technologies (switching, routing, load balancing, traffic shaping), Network Security (NGFW, IPS/IDS, etc.) and Cyber Security (SIEM, SOAR, IAM, Anti-virus);

• Knowledge of the main architectural paradigms (e.g., Client-Server, Web Application, micro-services, etc.);

• Experience on at least one Cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.);

• Knowledge of the main Information Assurance topics (Comsec, Infosec, etc.), Tempest levels (Facility /Equipment).

Language skills: Technical English language knowledge at B2 level or higher.

Other:

• Availability for short-medium term international travel;

• Experience in managing projects in consortium with foreign partners and/or in projects that include the accreditation of solutions for the management of classified information according to National and/or International standards and/or in the Defense sector with particular reference to Aeronautical systems and Land Vehicles is welcome.

How does the selection process work? After collecting applications, CVs most in line with the required qualifications are evaluated and identified.
