Background & Position Summary
The role will be part of the US Consumer Cards, a market leader in the credit card industry. US Consumer Cards maintains its leadership position by delivering industry-leading products, advanced services and payment systems that address clients’ evolving needs.
US Consumer Cards offers a combination of class leading proprietary credit cards such as Citi Simplicity, Citi Double Cash, and Citi Rewards products as well as partner credit cards with iconic industry leaders such as Costco, American Airlines and Best Buy. These value propositions are supported by a broad range of digital lending programs such as Flex Loan and Flex Pay, and industry-leading digital experiences. Our mission is to win the hearts, minds and wallets of our consumers with high impact products and marketing.
This role is part of the Value team, within the larger US Consumer Cards organization. The Citi Value (Non-Rewards) portfolio is one of the largest in US Consumer Cards - with the most cardmembers and generating the highest returns within the broader business. This portfolio is a significant strategic focus for the organization, with visibility and attention given due to its size and profitability. The Company has significant investment in this area and the need for new approaches to customer communications on our products is urgent and requires fresh and innovative thinking. This role will apply customer-centric mindset to design and deliver relevant customer communications across customer lifecycle in collaboration with Marketing, Agency, Digital and Legal teams. The successful candidate will manage all product communications and implement a robust pipeline of updates across various channels and touchpoints to strengthen our customer understanding and use of our products (Diamond Preferred, Simplicity and Secured credit cards).
Role Details
This role will manage all communications that will drive understanding and re-enforcement of our products' value and benefits to our customers. A successful candidate will play a key role in the design and maintenance of Value customer communication strategy, with periodic updates informed by customer behavior and research insights. The position will work closely with Marketing, Creative Agency and Legal teams to ensure our marketing assets remain in alignment with desired product positioning and in compliance with the business controls.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and execute customer communications throughout customer lifecycle and across all channels in partnership with Marketing, Agency, Digital and Legal teams

Support communication strategy design and implementation for ad hoc projects across all customer channels (including new product development and delivery)

Manage all portfolio marketing assets and related inventory (benefits guide, plastics, etc)
Candidate Qualifications
-
6-10 years related experience

Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business, computer science or related quantitative discipline

Project management and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong creativity and sense of curiosity, self-motivated

Influencing skills - ability to work across multiple teams, functions, and businesses

Strong written and verbal communication skills
