Technical Support Engineer
Midlige & Richter, a preeminent PIP recovery law firm in New Jersey, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Technical Support Engineer to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the technology infrastructure that allows our legal experts to provide exceptional service to healthcare providers across the state.
As a strategic partner for medical professionals, our firm relies on robust and efficient technology. You will be the go-to person for all IT-related matters, ensuring our team can operate seamlessly and securely.
What you will do:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Serve as the first point of contact for our staff for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot our internal systems, including case management software and legal applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and printers.
- Ensure the security of our data and systems, protecting sensitive client and firm information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Help Desk Technician, or in a similar IT support role.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and security protocols.
- Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting a law firm or professional services environment is a plus, but not required.
