Key Objectives
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Mayo Behavioral Health team.
Manage communication, scheduling, and office logistics efficiently.
Contribute to a welcoming and professional environment for staff and visitors.
Ensure accurate handling of documentation and confidential information.
Responsibilities
Coordinate appointment scheduling and maintain calendars for clinical and administrative staff.
Answer and direct phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage email correspondence.
Prepare, organize, and maintain files, records, and reports with accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with patient intake processes, including data entry and verifying information.
Support billing and insurance documentation as needed.
Order and manage office supplies to ensure smooth operations.
Facilitate communication between departments and external partners.
Assist with event coordination and team meetings when required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health settings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
