Senior Financial Controller (OPEX) (m/ž)

E.ON Customer Solutions Czechia ensures the strategic direction of E.ON Energie. We develop and innovate products and services and are responsible for marketing activities across the entire E.ON group.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Controller to join the Planning and Reporting team, who will be a key partner to management in controlling costs across the E.ON group companies in the Czech Republic. We are looking for someone who can connect financial perspective with business reality, identify opportunities for increasing efficiency, and provide management with quality data for decision-making. The role will include regular reporting and planning, as well as active support for transformation initiatives, digitalization, and increasing cost discipline in the organization. The position combines financial expertise and company-wide coordination. You can join us in Prague, Brno, or České Budějovice.

Co u nás budete dělat?

Business partnering a řízení nákladů

• You will become a business partner for managers of individual departments in the area of operational cost management (OPEX).

• You will regularly evaluate OPEX costs against plan, forecast, and past periods.

• You will provide management with recommendations leading to increased efficiency based on data analysis.

• You will prepare analyses supporting management decisions.

Plánování a forecasting

• You will oversee the coordination of budget preparation, forecasts, and medium-term plans.

• You will handle the consolidation of plans from individual departments.

• You will be involved in challenging budgetary requirements and seeking opportunities for savings.

• You will closely cooperate with business owners.

Reporting a management informace

• You will prepare regular management reporting.

• You will evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures.

• You will be involved in projects aimed at cost optimization.

Transformace a automatizace

• You will actively participate in the implementation and development of SAP S/4HANA.

• You will contribute to the automation of reporting processes and the elimination of manual activities.

• You will cooperate with Data Office, Reporting Hub, and other internal stakeholders.

• You will define business requirements for new reports and dashboards.

• You will be involved in testing and validating new solutions.

• you have a university education in economics

• you have at least 5 years of experience in controlling, financial planning, or financial analysis

• you have experience with OPEX controlling in a medium or large company

• you are proficient in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting

• you are excellent in MS Excel and PowerPoint

• you have experience with SAP (ideally S/4HANA) and Power BI or similar BI solutions

• you can work with large volumes of data and translate them into understandable management recommendations

• you can communicate in English without problems, at least at B2 level
