Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Linux Malware Protection Engineer responsible for securing Linux-based systems against malware and threats. The role focuses on deploying and maintaining Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (Linux) and Trend Micro Deep Security to ensure robust endpoint security, threat detection, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on Linux servers
Implement and maintain Trend Micro Deep Security for Linux based systems
Ensure real-time malware protection and EDR are functioning effectively
Configure and manage:
Integrate security tools with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk)
Manage agent deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting on Linux servers
Ensure compliance with BOSCH Cyber security standards
Generate security reports and dashboards for stakeholders
Conduct regular security assessments and patch management coordination
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE)
Hands-on experience with:
Knowledge of malware detection techniques and endpoint protection strategies
Experience with:
Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python) for automation
Understanding of Linux security:
Experience in troubleshooting security agents and performance issues
Security certifications such as:
Key Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle security incidents under pressure
Good communication and documentation skills
Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
Ability to work in geographically distributed teams
Experience:
3–7 years in Linux administration/security
At least 2+ years in endpoint security or malware protection tools
Qualification:
B.E, B.Tech (IT)
3–7 years in Linux administration/security
