THE ROLE:
AMD is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director, GSI Partner Development Manager (PDM) to lead AMD's global partnership with one or more of our strategic Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners. This role is responsible for developing joint business strategies, driving partner engagement, accelerating pipeline and revenue growth, and strengthening AMD's position across the global GSI ecosystem.
As the primary global business owner for your assigned partner(s), you will serve as the global executive point of contact between AMD and the GSI, developing trusted relationships across executive, business, technical, and go-to-market organizations. You will work closely with AMD Sales, Business Units, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Regional Sales teams to identify new opportunities, develop joint solutions, remove execution barriers, and drive measurable business outcomes.
This is a highly visible, revenue-focused role operating at the intersection of strategic partnerships, sales, AI, cloud, software, data center, and enterprise transformation initiatives. Success requires executive presence, strategic thinking, operational discipline, and the ability to influence across highly matrixed global organizations.

You are an accomplished partner development leader with deep experience building strategic alliances, developing executive relationships, and driving partner-led business growth within complex technology ecosystems.
You bring:
Proven experience managing strategic GSI, alliance, cloud, OEM, or enterprise technology partnerships
Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders both internally and externally
Strong understanding of GSI business models, partner ecosystems, and joint go-to-market strategies
Demonstrated success developing joint business plans that deliver measurable revenue growth
Delivered on partner influenced revenue, pipeline and sales
Strategic mindset balanced with strong operational execution
Ability to influence across highly matrixed organizations without direct authority
Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and executive presentation skills
Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive business decisions
Curiosity and enthusiasm for applying AI-enabled tools to improve partner engagement, business planning, and operational efficiency
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Global Partner Strategy & Executive Relationship Management
Own AMD's global relationship with assigned GSI partner(s), serving as the primary business leader responsible for partner strategy, engagement, and growth
Build trusted executive relationships across business, sales, technical, and alliance organizations
Develop and execute joint business plans aligned to AMD and partner strategic priorities
Serve as the voice of the partner within AMD, representing partner needs, opportunities, and market insights
Revenue Growth & Go-to-Market Leadership
Drive partner-led pipeline development, revenue growth, and market expansion through joint go-to-market initiatives
Collaborate with AMD Regional Sales teams to identify, develop, and accelerate customer opportunities
Partner with Business Units, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to develop differentiated partner solutions
Identify new market opportunities across AI, cloud, data center, enterprise, and emerging technologies
Manage partner funding and MDF investments with a high bar for ROI, ensuring alignment with joint business objectives and GSI program requirements
Partner Programs & Operational Excellence
Lead governance activities including executive business reviews, pipeline reviews, joint planning sessions, and operational cadences
Coordinate solution development, marketing programs, funding initiatives, and customer engagement activities
Support onboarding of new partner initiatives while continuously improving existing programs and operational processes
Ensure partnership activities align with AMD legal, commercial, and operational requirements
Business Planning & Analytics
Develop and monitor partner performance metrics including revenue, pipeline, ROI, account plan execution, and market impact
Leverage analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting, business planning, opportunity management, and executive reporting
Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities through data-driven insights
AI & Ecosystem Growth
Collaborate with partners to identify AI, cloud, and enterprise transformation opportunities that accelerate adoption of AMD technologies
Drive strategic discussions around AI infrastructure, data center modernization, cloud transformation, and next-generation enterprise solutions
Stay current on evolving industry trends, competitive dynamics, and partner ecosystem developments
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Strategic Partner Leadership
Proven experience managing strategic GSI, alliance, cloud, OEM, or enterprise technology partnerships
Demonstrated success developing executive relationships and joint business plans that drive measurable business growth
Go-to-Market & Sales Strategy
Experience driving partner-led revenue growth, pipeline development, and joint go-to-market initiatives
Strong understanding of enterprise sales motions, partner ecosystems, and co-sell strategies
Industry Experience
Experience working with Global Systems Integrators, Systems Integrators, strategic alliances, cloud providers, or enterprise technology partners
Experience in AI, cloud, data center, enterprise infrastructure, or semiconductor technology environments preferred
Operational Excellence
Strong program management, business planning, forecasting, and executive communication skills
Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, analytics, and automation to improve business planning, partner engagement, forecasting, and operational efficiency
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor's degree required MBA or advanced degree preferred
LOCATION:
Remote – United States California or New York preferred. Candidates located near a major U.S. airport will also be considered.
