We are looking for a new member of our Food Quality and Safety team, who will use their professional knowledge and leadership skills to ensure the consistent high quality of our products from the production line to the consumer.
The role
You ensure that company standards as well as legal requirements in the areas of quality, safety, and environment are met. You act as the central point of contact for internal and external audits at the plant.
You are responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes at the plant level in accordance with legal and corporate requirements—ranging from incoming goods inspection to finished product analysis (sensory, analytical, microbiological) and market monitoring.
You are responsible for maintaining a healthy culture of error management to ensure the highest level of product quality and food safety in the market, preventing business losses due to quality deviations.
You and your team handle customer/consumer complaints, implement measures for resolution, and conduct investigations regarding these claims.
You are responsible for the further development of our Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 22000) as well as company-specific requirements in the areas of safety, hygiene, and the environment.
Requirements:
University degree (food, engineering or science, e.g. food engineer, chemical engineer)
At least 5-10 years’ relevant experience in quality management in the food and beverage industry
Confident computer skills (Excel, document management systems)
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation and excellent communication skills
Leadership experience, mentoring and motivating attitude
