The Civil Works Engineer coordinates all civil construction activities across the Continental facility, overseeing the maintenance of production halls, administrative annexes, parking areas, green spaces, property boundaries, access roads, and emergency evacuation routes.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, report, and manage facility issues with appropriate priority levels, escalating to direct management when necessary
Verify work completion and adherence to execution timelines, providing solutions to ensure deadlines are met
Independently identify and implement solutions for necessary facility repairs and maintenance
Organize and oversee snow removal operations across the Continental facility
Develop technical specifications for construction works, including new investments and repairs
Review and evaluate contractor bids from both technical and financial perspectives
Prepare detailed scope of work documents and specifications
Process and submit work orders into the system
Verify, approve, and track invoices throughout the billing process
Build budget and monitor approved budgets against actual expenditures
Negotiations and relationships with external suppliers and contractors
Coordinate activities, including work assignments, vacation scheduling, sick leave, shift management, and other personnel matters
Coordinate end to end civil projects.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field
Minimum 3 years of experience in civil works, facility management, or construction project coordination
Strong knowledge of construction specifications and technical documentation
Experience with contractor management and vendor negotiations
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in relevant software systems (CAD) and MS Office applications
English minim B2
Is a plus - Experience with facility maintenance management systems
Is a plus - Proficiency in project management and budget tracking
