We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Tendering Senior Engineer based in Egypt to become a valued member of Cybersecurity Solutions and Services Business Development team, supporting our rapidly growing cybersecurity organization. This position will report to the Regional Cybersecurity Business Leader of the Middle East.
Interfacing with cybersecurity front office team, national and international customers, and within Schneider Electric groups for the creation of technical and commercial cybersecurity proposals.
Creation of cybersecurity technical solutions architecture with the help of solution architects.
Creation of technical (HW and SW) Bill of Materials (BoM).
Calculation of engineering and documentation efforts estimation.
Development of RFQ/RFP compliance statements.
Development of responses to technical questions.
Development of technical and commercial proposals.
Commercial and technical considerations requiring collaboration with vendors, partners, delivery organization, and primarily with Cybersecurity Business Consultants (CBC).
Development of responses to RFIs.
Develop and implement an order winning strategy.
Manage the preparation of proposals for a range of bespoke cybersecurity services solutions by coordinating the bidding activities with all involved teams.
Review and manage the customers enquiry process into a costed workable solution.
Submit a detailed response to the enquiry documentation and provide answers/responses to any subsequent requests for clarification (respond to customer questions & requests in a timely and efficient manner).
Perform a customer site survey when required to estimate / generate a scope of work to suppliers for cabling, cabinet spacing, site supervision, and network communication requirements.
Develop optimized costing as part of the quotation process.
Act as the company's internal contact point for the customer during the enquiry and bidding processes (external contact is Sales by nature).
Develop, negotiate and agree/confirm contract specifications with a variety of external groups, including contractors, end-users and OEM companies
Keep a prioritized listing of outstanding tasks and when completed, filing the quote and cost file in the appropriate network location.
Work with the External Sales Managers or customer prospect to ascertain the enquiry information necessary to produce sales proposals including technical product selection, quotation document and costing through costing templates and technical specifications.
Offer ‘office based’ commercial/sales support for our External Sales Managers
Support the development of the cost, customers and supplier databases, pricelists and libraries
Carry out regular proposal follow ups using/updating and maintaining the CRM and sales programs
Interpret and cost solutions and supporting information relevant to new projects
Clarify subsequent purchase order receipt and to prepare detailed order handover documentation in a timely manner for Delivery to execute the contract
Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity
Prior experience in Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) such as; Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA), Building Management Systems (BMS), etc will be an added advantage
Prior experience in Operational Technology (OT) Networks and Enterprise/IT Networks
Working knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and technical controls
Understanding of high-availability networking technologies
Experience with LAN, WAN and technologies
Writing skills to communicate information effectively to customers, Project Managers, and technical staff
Organizational skills to work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis to cope with rapidly changing information and be able to apply the information
Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate customer priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.
Fluent in English
Willingness to travel (Travel required circa 20 to 25%)
Excellent Process Automation & Energy Management Experience.
Associates or bachelor’s degree in a computer related field
Strong experience of ISA/IEC 62443 standard and preferably holder of IC32 and IC34 certifications
Technical certifications preferred but not mandatory: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, MCP.
