The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in large-scale web platforms, including non-logged-in and logged-in B2C, B2B, and eCommerce customer journeys, and the ability to translate these into robust, scalable technical solutions. A strong inclination to deep dive into code and platform internals (frontend and backend) is essential.
Define, design, and govern end-to-end architecture across frontend, middleware, APIs, backend, and integration layers, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security, scalability, and performance requirements
Drive technology strategy and architectural roadmap for web platforms (B2C, B2B, eCommerce), including cross-platform dependencies and integrations
Lead platform-level initiatives focused on performance optimization, scalability, caching strategies (CDN/edge), and operational resilience
Identify and address systemic gaps, bottlenecks, and technical debt across the platform
Establish observability frameworks, SLOs, and reliability metrics (e.g., Core Web Vitals), and lead RCA with durable fixes
Act as the technical authority for complex system design, architecture decisions, and critical delivery milestones
Provide hands-on guidance in architecture reviews, solution design, and key code areas; mentor engineering teams to improve engineering quality and maturity
Translate business requirements into scalable, implementation-ready solutions, ensuring feasibility and alignment with platform strategy
Guide adoption of modern architecture patterns including modular/monorepo architectures, microservices, API-first and event-driven designs
Enforce engineering best practices in secure coding, performance optimization, and system reliability
Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and technical audits, ensuring adherence to standards, performance benchmarks, and regulatory requirements
Ensure strong decision gates and quality checkpoints across the delivery lifecycle
Partner closely with QA, DevOps, and Release Management to ensure robust CI/CD, release governance, and production readiness
Oversee impact analysis of changes across frontend, backend, APIs, caching layers, and integrations to ensure minimal risk and high release confidence
Clearly communicate architecture vision, trade-offs, and risk positions to both technical and non technical stakeholders
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Business teams to align customer experience with platform capabilities
Drive adoption of modern web and platform engineering practices (API-first, cloud-native, headless CMS, composable architectures)
Introduce tools, frameworks, and practices to improve developer productivity, platform performance, and delivery efficiency
Stay current with evolving technologies across frontend ecosystems, CMS, and digital commerce platforms
Strong experience in enterprise web platform architecture across frontend, backend, and integration layers
Deep understanding of B2C, B2B, and eCommerce customer journeys (logged-in and non-logged-in)
Hands-on expertise in:
Strong understanding of scalability, performance engineering, resilience patterns, and security best practices, using Dynatrace, telemetry and load testing tools such as JMeter, tracking Core web vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)
Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, observability, and monitoring tools (Nx or monorepo-based setups preferred)
Ability to own the complete solution lifecycle, from architecture through execution alignment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a decisive, problem-solving mindset
12–18+ years in software engineering
5+ years in architect-level roles leading large-scale web platforms
Proven experience in platform transformation initiatives and multi-team ecosystems
Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Architect
Improved platform stability, uptime, and Core Web Vitals performance
