Senior
Uniflair Spa is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be hired with a full-time employment contract. The ideal candidate must have a three-year or master's degree in a related field, or alternatively a diploma as a mechanical expert. The resource will be included in an integrated project team (mechanical, electrical, software, and manual) and will be responsible for the development of projects concerning mechanical components using Solid Edge software.
The projects may concern the development of new ranges (PMP), the sustaining of active ranges (PEP), or highly dedicated orders for specific customers (CSP). In project development, they will start from drafting the refrigeration scheme, then moving on to the design of 3D/2D models using design software such as Solid Edge, collaborating both with the electrical designer for the definition of common aspects (positioning of the electrical panel, cable routing, etc.) and with the entire team.
They will also proceed with the coding of items and the creation/modification of machine BOMs, completing cross-functional activities on portfolio products, including the creation of welding maps. Furthermore, the resource participates in the upstream phase of the study, designs and develops new products and sub-assemblies, validates the design and complex solutions through the execution of tests and the creation of prototypes. The solutions adopted must be tested independently and, in their specific area of expertise, with responsibility. Some activities may include the coordination of junior mechanical profiles within a project team.
Reports to the Resource manager and aligns with the defined design guidelines;
Follows the entire life cycle of a project, from the development phase (construction of the refrigeration circuit through the development of metal sheets, piping, etc.) up to production, specifically dealing with:
Constantly interfaces with the Project Team Leader discussing technical problems, costs, product performance, and any critical issues that have arisen;
Provides practical assistance in the prototype construction phase, also providing technical instructions
Interacts with the Industrialization Area for modifications following prototypes or production tracked through the JIRA or PEP system
Prepares the manufacturing specifications document (CIS), in collaboration with the Production Manager / Plant Engineering, and is responsible for its correct registration and updating.
Cooperates in supervising production activities, especially in the prototyping phase;
Interacts with the technical antenna to verify anomalies and derogations on components, and with Purchasing, to verify the correctness and feasibility of the prices indicated by Suppliers in the quote;
During the activity, maintains confidential information;
Receives and implements the 5S methodology;
Ensures that activities are carried out in a way that fully meets the quality requirements established by the company and those requested by the customer;
Complies with the requirements of the PED directive;
Supports the drafting of technical documentation with images or information;
Previous experience of at least 3 years working in mechanical design of industrial machines (with a preference for air conditioning machines)
Good knowledge of refrigeration systems for air conditioning
Ability to draw up a refrigeration scheme according to current regulations,
Ability to read technical drawings
Knowledge of 3D CAD (possibly Solid Edge)
Motivated person, with problem-solving skills, able to work in a dynamic matrix environment with multiple stakeholders
