Position Title: Senior Manager – Maintenance Work Location: Coimbatore Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in Maintenance leadership (Experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred)
Maintenance Planning & Execution
Develop and implement maintenance planning & scheduling systems (daily, weekly, shutdown planning).
Ensure effective execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Breakdown Maintenance (BM), CBM strategies.
Improve equipment availability, reliability, and lifecycle performance.
Equipment Monitoring & Reliability
Monitor machinery health using Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) techniques.
Track and improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).
Drive root cause analysis (Why-Why Analysis) and implement corrective actions.
Budget & Resource Management
Prepare and control annual maintenance budgets.
Optimize manpower utilization, spare parts inventory, and maintenance costs.
Ensure cost-effective procurement and vendor management.
Spares & Inventory Management
Maintain optimum inventory levels for critical spares.
Manage spares through SAP/ERP systems.
Ensure timely availability without overstocking.
Team Management
Lead and manage maintenance teams across shifts.
Plan manpower allocation and shift management systems.
Conduct training and skill development programs.
Enforce accountability and performance tracking.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure implementation of Safety Systems & Work Permits.
Comply with statutory norms including TNEB, TNPCB, and environmental regulations.
Promote a strong safety culture and zero-incident workplace.
Continuous Improvement & TPM:
Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
Implement 5S, JIT, Lean Manufacturing principles.
Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement projects.
Automation & Projects
Handle machine erection, commissioning, and upgrades.
Manage conveyor automation systems and control systems (BMS, SPS – Schneider Performance Systems / Deming).
Support modernization and technology implementation initiatives.
Sustainability & Energy Management
Lead energy-saving projects and monitor utilities.
Implement Sustainability & Environmental Management Systems.
Optimize power consumption and coordinate with TNEB.
Performance Monitoring
Track key KPIs such as:
Use systems like OWS – JBS / SPS dashboards for performance reporting.
SAP PM Module

CBM / TBM Techniques
BMS Systems
