Mid-Level
We are looking for a qualified and responsible Cooling Service Engineer to support the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cooling systems and HVAC equipment. The candidate will be involved in site coordination, technical support, preventive maintenance, and ensuring system performance meets project and operational requirements.
Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of cooling systems, HVAC equipment, CRAC/CRAH units, and related controls.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for cooling equipment and associated electrical/control components.
Diagnose system faults and propose corrective actions to restore normal operation.
Support site inspections, technical evaluations, and service activities.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.
Prepare service reports, maintenance records, testing results, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams on project and service activities.
Assist in spare parts planning, warranty claims, and component replacement recommendations.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with safety requirements, project specifications, and company procedures.
Provide technical support during project execution and after-sales service activities.
Keen to learn, proactive, and willing to take initiative in solving technical issues.
Diploma / Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services, or related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in cooling systems, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, liquid cooling, inrows cooling or any air-conditioning equipment.
Experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cooling equipment.
Familiar with electrical controls, BMS interface, and HVAC system operation.
Able to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
Hands-on experience in data centre cooling systems will be an added advantage.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and report-writing skills.
Knowledge of chilled water systems, DX systems, CRAC/CRAH units, and control systems.
Familiarity with Modbus / BMS communication and control troubleshooting.
Possess Class 3 driving licence (if required ).
