Staff / Principal Engineer, Facilities Construction – Mechanical

Role Purpose Provide technical leadership for mechanical facilities systems including HVAC, cooling water, exhaust, and thermal management infrastructure in designated Japan site.
Key Responsibilities

Lead construction of major mechanical utility systems (PCW, CTW, HVAC, exhaust).

Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, energy modeling, and design validation.

Ensure compliance with Japanese building codes, JIS standards, and safety regulations.

Lead commissioning, system balancing, and performance verification.

Manage design firms and construction contractors.
Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above or equivalent working experience
-
8+ years in mechanical design and construction in Japan.

Knowledge of cleanroom HVAC, vibration control, sub‑fab mechanical systems.

Japanese language required
Requirement: Must have prior Japan work experience.
