Micron's Singapore Process Development (PD) group in Technology Development (TD) is seeking a Senior Engineer in Plasma-CVD/Diffusion to support the development of advanced technology nodes. This outstanding opportunity allows you to build and optimize Plasma-CVD or Diffusion processes for Micron's innovative NAND Flash products.
As a PD Engineer at Micron, you will transform ideas from conception through flawless process development and successful implementation in our manufacturing facilities. This role is pivotal to Micron's products and may require business-related travel. You will excel in areas such as Plasma-CVD or Thermal Diffusion process and film characterization, optimization, building, troubleshooting, process transfer, and fundamental research.
You will work closely with Process Integration, Metrology, Surface characterization labs, Electrical Failure Analysis, Yield Improvement, Manufacturing, and Equipment vendors/suppliers to ensure our thin film processes meet the strict physical and electrical requirements for Micron Products.
This position requires demonstrated skills in a research and development (R&D) environment, outstanding organizational abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and in collaboration with others. You may frequently provide weekend support to the R&D Pilot Line to manage pilot/manufacturing line issues and coordinate program-critical lots through various modules.

Advanced Thin Film peers
PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related field of study or,
Bachelor/Masters in Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field of study, accompanied by more than 5 years of relevant experience in CVD/Diffusion.
Understanding in one or more of the following topics: Transport phenomena, Electromagnetics, Atomic/Molecular physics, and Surface phenomena.
Solid troubleshooting, experimental build, and data analysis skills.
Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
Plasma physics background and understanding of plasma sources used in plasma CVD or equivalent experience.
Understanding of CVD and Diffusion deposition processing principles.
Rudimentary understanding of process control and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Understanding of solid state devices.
Knowledge of advanced data analysis techniques and scripting.
Willingness to work off shift and weekends if necessary.
