Ever wondered what’s behind the cost of a Coca-Cola bottle? Join the COGS Team at Coca-Cola HBC!
We’re not just number crunchers, we’re an analytical, and insight-driven team operating at the core of one of the world’s top FMCG companies. As part of the COGS team, you’ll go beyond operations to truly understand the mechanics of the business—how costs behave, how strategy takes shape, and how data drives decision-making.
In this dynamic and international environment, you’ll collaborate across markets and dive deep into cost structures. If you’re curious, driven, and ready to make an impact—you’ll feel right at home here.
AS A PART OF OUR COGS TEAM: You will support accurate and timely COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) forecasts and help maintain key files and reports. In this role, you will collaborate closely with finance and supply chain stakeholders across multiple countries within the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group. You’ll work in a supportive, international environment that values knowledge sharing, cross-market collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
OUR NEW TEAM MEMBER NEEDS TO HAVE:
3-4 years of experience on a financial role, preferably gained in a fast-moving, multinational environment and are ready to apply your expertise in a high-impact role.
Costing Expertise: Understanding of weighted average inventory valuation methods and their impact on cost accounting and financial reporting.
Educational Foundation: You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field—giving you the knowledge base to make an immediate impact
Fluency in English: You communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues across countries and functions.
Excel Skills: Excel skills are needed and highly valued — you will use Excel to manage and analyze data regularly.
ERP Savvy: You are comfortable using ERP systems and can navigate them easily. Bonus if you have some experience with SAP.
Results-Driven Mindset: You focus on delivering accurate and high-quality work, paying attention to detail, and working to meet deadlines consistently.
Proactivity & Problem-Solving: When challenges arise, you take initiative, using critical thinking and your skills to address issues early and keep things on track.
Eagerness to Learn: You’re curious and motivated to gain new knowledge, actively seeking out information and asking questions to grow your skills.
YOU CAN BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU CAN ENSURE:
Forecasting & Planning of COGS: Contribute to accurate and timely COGS planning for business plans and rolling estimates within your country of responsibility.
Period-End Closing: Assist with period-end closing activities to help ensure financial reporting is completed with precision and within deadlines.
Variance Analyses: Help prepare monthly variance analysis for raw and packaging materials, highlighting key factors driving differences between forecasted and actual COGS.
Reporting: Support building and improving reports that enable stakeholders to monitor cost efficiency and profitability, ensuring data is clear and reliable.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Communicate regularly with procurement and country finance teams to support COGS activities and uphold data integrity.
Support the Team: Foster open communication and teamwork within the COGS team, supporting colleagues and promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
HOW WE WILL SUPPORT YOU:
Comprehensive onboarding: You’ll have a buddy and a trainer who will introduce you to the business, your daily routines and tasks during your onboarding period
