ポジション概要

CIES内において、フォーキャストとCommercial Analytics Team(CAT)の両機能を横断的に担うポジションである。Business Intelligence機能の中核として、需要予測・収益フォーキャストの構築から、コンシューマーおよびHCP(医療従事者)分析の実施、データドリブンな意思決定の推進までを担当する。

既存のExcelベースのフォーキャストモデルをAI駆動型へと移行・再構築するトランスフォーメーションをリードするとともに、自らAIツール活用を推進する立場として、チームおよび組織全体のAnalytics Transformationを加速させる。社内外のステークホルダー(FP&A、サプライチェーン、グローバルチーム、ブランドチーム、コンシューマーチーム、外部ベンダー等)と密接に連携しながら、経営層へ戦略的インサイトを提供する。

主な責任範囲

フォーキャスト（FCST）

• 既存品・新製品のフォーキャストモデルを構築し、短期〜長期（最大10年）の収益予測を作成

• Business Plan・Strategic Planの予測資料をPRA / Finance / NPP / ブランドチームと協働して提出

• サプライチェーンチームと連携したSKU需要予測の管理（精度維持・在庫最適化・月次デマンドミーティングのリード）

• 主要KPI（MKT/SOM/WSインベントリ）のパフォーマンストラッキングおよび月次経営報告への貢献

• 既存のExcelベース・統計的フォーキャストモデルを評価し、機械学習・AIモデルへの段階的な移行・再構築をリード

• 生成AIツールをフォーキャスト業務（データ収集・モデル構築・レポーティング）に組み込み、チーム全体の生産性・品質を向上

アナリティクス（CAT）

• 消費者・患者分析を実施し、疾患啓発施策および患者エンゲージメント戦略に活かす

• AIモデルおよびマーケティングミックスモデリング（MMM）・アトリビューション分析等を活用し、メディア効果を測定する

• 疾患認知・診断・治療開始・服薬継続に至る患者体験を分析し、機会を特定する

• パイプライン製品・ブランドパフォーマンス分析を実施し、ブランドおよびアフィリエイト戦略に反映させる

• 市場・処方データ（IQVIA/JMDC / MDV / Rx-Si等）・消費者パネルデータ（INTAGE等）・POSデータ・デジタル行動データ（Web解析）など複合データセットからインサイトを抽出・活用する

• クロスファンクショナルチームと連携し、AIモデルおよびダッシュボード・レポートを開発する

必須要件

• アナリティクス・財務分析・コンサルティング等の実務経験（2年以上）、もしくはそれに相当する定量的業務経験

• 消費財業界の経験

• 数字・データへの強い親和性：複雑かつ大規模なデータセットから定量的フレームワークを構築し、アクション可能なインサイトを導出できる

• AI・デジタルツールへの積極的な姿勢：新しいテクノロジーを自ら試し、業務改善・自動化に応用できる

• Microsoft Office（Excel / PowerPoint）中〜上級レベル

Position: Manager / Senior Manager (P2/P3) – Business Intelligence - Forecasting & Analytics Organization: CIES (Customer Insights - Experience and Strategy) Location: Kobe, Japan

About the Role

This is a cross-functional role within Customer Insights - Experience and Strategy (CIES), combining responsibilities across Forecasting and Commercial Analytics Team (CAT) functions. The position serves as a core function within Business Intelligence — spanning demand and revenue forecasting, conducting consumer and HCP analytics, and driving data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will lead the transformation of existing Excel-based forecasting models toward AI-driven models, while acting as an agent who actively leverages AI tools to accelerate Analytics Transformation across the team and broader organization — working closely with internal and external stakeholders (FP&A, Supply Chain, Global Teams, Brand Teams, Consumer Team, external vendors, etc.) to deliver strategic insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting (FCST)

• Build and maintain forecasting models for both in-line and pipeline products, generating near- to long-term revenue forecasts (up to 10 years)

• Develop and submit forecast materials (slides, graphs) for Business Plan and Strategic Plan cycles in collaboration with PRA, Finance, NPP, and Brand Teams

• Manage SKU-level demand forecasts in partnership with Supply Chain, maintaining accuracy to ensure stable supply while minimizing obsolescence; lead monthly Demand Meetings

• Track and report on key performance indicators (Market Share, SOM, WS Inventory) to support monthly management reviews

• Evaluate existing Excel-based and statistical forecasting models and lead the phased migration and rebuilding toward machine learning and AI-driven models

• Integrate generative AI tools into forecasting workflows (data collection, model building, reporting) to drive team-wide productivity and quality improvements

Analytics (CAT)

• Conduct consumer & patient analyses to inform Disease State Education initiatives and patient engagement strategies

• Leverage AI models and apply marketing mix modeling (MMM) and attribution analysis to measure media effectiveness

• Analyze patient unified experience across touchpoints — from disease awareness and diagnosis through treatment initiation and adherence — to identify friction points, optimization opportunities, and engagement gaps

• Conduct analyses across pipeline products and brand performance to inform brand and affiliate strategy

• Derive insights from complex, multi-source datasets including IQVIA market data, prescription claims data (JMDC, MDV, Rx-Si, etc.), consumer panel data (e.g., INTAGE), POS/retail sell-out data, and digital behavioral data (web analytics)

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop AI models and dashboards/reports using BI tools

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics, financial analysis, consulting, or equivalent quantitative role

• Background in consumer goods, retail, or related non-pharma industries

• Strong affinity for numbers and data: ability to build quantitative frameworks from complex, large-scale datasets and translate them into actionable insights

• Proactive attitude toward AI and digital tools: willingness to independently explore new technologies and apply them to improve workflows and drive automation

• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership

• Strong presentation skills: ability to anticipate management needs and deliver data-driven, persuasive recommendations

• Business-level proficiency in both written and spoken English and Japanese

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) in a professional setting, or a track record of driving AI adoption and enablement within a team

• Practical experience in data analysis, modeling, or automation using Python, R, or SQL

• Working knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling techniques including regression, time-series analysis, and clustering

• Experience participating in or leading projects to re-architect or AI-enable existing analytical models

• Experience building dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)

• Experience driving digital or organizational transformation initiatives

• Familiarity with forecasting software (SAS, Forecast Pro, etc.) or custom forecasting platforms

• Project management experience

• MBA, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree

• Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams
