They provide support in HR, IT, finance, legal, administration, and communication.

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Solution & Design Delivery department, where we specialize in internal development, implementation, and expansion of existing and new applications. These applications are directly used by our customers, for example, the web customer portal energie24.eon.cz and its mobile application, and applications for online contract signing.

Who are we looking for?

• Technically proficient QA engineer who believes that anything done repeatedly deserves to be automated.

• Analyst with a developer mindset, who can read code and understands how front-end and back-end services connect under the hood.

• Architect of testing scenarios, who can design a robust and maintainable set of automated tests that won't require a fix every time a button color changes.

• Quality advocate, for whom testing is not an "add-on" to development, but its key component from the first line of code.

• Precise partner, who has an eye for detail but also does not lose sight of overall system stability and performance.

• Team player, who can constructively explain to developers why an automated test failed and work with them to find a solution.

What will you be doing with us?

• Building frameworks for automated testing – your main task will be the design and development of automated tests for our mobile and web applications.

• Integrating tests into CI/CD pipeline – you will ensure that automated tests run with every build and provide immediate feedback to the team.

• Writing scripts for E2E and integration tests – you will cover key user scenarios to ensure the system functions as a whole.

• Maintaining and optimizing existing tests – you will ensure that the test suite is fast, reliable, and free of false alarms (flaky tests).

• Collaborating on the definition of testing strategies – together with analysts and developers, you will determine what makes sense to automate and where to stick with manual verification.

• Analyzing test results and reporting bugs – in case of failure, you will delve into logs, identify the cause, and oversee its resolution.

What should an ideal candidate fulfill?

• Experience with test automation (mobile or web) and good orientation in testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of a programming or scripting language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python) at the level of writing tests.

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Maestro, or Selenium).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) for automated test execution.
