About AGRC
AGRC is the consulting and advisory practice within Commercial Risk. The team supports organizations with strategic and operational risk issues in the areas of risk consulting, cyber, and risk analytics. What distinguishes AGRC is the combination of in-depth expertise, senior advisory capacity, and close collaboration with commercial and broking teams. The practice is growing, partly through Cyber, and plays an increasingly important role in the total value proposition to clients. At the same time, the next phase requires more coherence, clarity, and further professionalization of the organization.
Why now?
The demand for strategic risk advice is increasing, driven by developments such as cyber, governance, and data-driven decision-making. AGRC is therefore at a tipping point: the substantive foundation is in place, and there is a clear opportunity to further develop the practice and position it more firmly within Aon and towards the market. This makes it an interesting time for a leader who can guide this next phase and further help exploit the potential of the teams.
The role
As Head of AGRC, you are ultimately responsible for the Dutch AGRC practice. You lead approximately 35 professionals through four managers and operate at the intersection of strategy, commerce, and leadership. The focus in this role is on managing the organization, strengthening collaboration, and creating an environment where experts can excel. You ensure clear structure, support your managers in their role, and bring focus to priorities and results.
Your impact
In this role, you will work on further strengthening AGRC as a whole. You bring teams, propositions, and stakeholders closer together and ensure more coherence and predictability in the practice. At the same time, you play an important role in developing people and building an open, professional, and inclusive working environment. You also collaborate with colleagues within the international Aon network (EMEA), actively contributing to knowledge sharing and leveraging international expertise.
What will you do?
You are responsible for the development and management of the AGRC practice in the Netherlands. The emphasis is on three interconnected elements:

Strategy & development: further developing propositions and positioning in collaboration with Commercial Risk and Cyber

Leadership & teams: managing and coaching four managers and strengthening collaboration, ownership, and development within the teams

Business management: ensuring healthy, predictable development of the practice and a good balance between demand, capacity, and quality
Who are you?
You are an experienced leader with a background in consulting or advisory and have an affinity for working in a professional service environment. You combine substantive insight with the ability to effectively manage and develop teams. You are comfortable in a role where you provide direction, implement structure, and at the same time allow room for specialization and expertise within your teams. You are accessible, clear, and focused on collaboration.
