Director, Reinsurance (Treaty)

Role Overview:

In this role, the new team member will be responsible for the execution of reinsurance solutions for our reinsurance clients' ongoing servicing and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth and Sales

• As a senior professional, makes a significant contribution to the success of the company through financial impact of revenue contribution, strategic growth of the business or enhancement of the company’s professional image and expertise

• Grows existing accounts and pursues new business opportunities

Client Ownership

• Viewed as a key client manager; receives high client satisfaction results by achieving clients’ reinsurance strategy goals

• Take ownership of reinsurance placements of allocated reinsurance treaties

Operational Excellence

• Take ownership of reinsurance placements of allocated reinsurance treaties

• Perform analysis required to execute successful reinsurance transactions and to provide clients with advice regarding their reinsurance strategy

• Articulate the risks and the economics of a transaction to cedants and reinsurers

• Work closely with our colleagues in the region to leverage regional resources and knowledge

• Support team members on business development

• Grow network within the re/insurance industry
