Director, FP&A, Asia Pacific
We are seeking a Director FP&A to support the APAC CFO and provide senior financial leadership across the region at a time of increasing complexity, ongoing transformation and heightened expectations from Group Finance. This role will act as the APAC CFO’s principal thought partner, with responsibility for management reporting, financial analysis, performance storytelling, and stakeholder management across the region. The role will work closely with sub‑regional CFOs, the APAC CEO and Leadership Team, CFO International, and Group Finance and can be based in either Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines or Singapore.
This role is well suited to a senior finance leader (e.g. Head of FP&A, Head of Management Reporting, Head of Business Performance, Commercial Finance Leader, Senior Manager FP&A) with experience operating in complex, multi‑country environments and a strong appetite to work at enterprise and executive level.

What the day will look like
Strategic Finance & Executive Support
Act as a trusted thought partner to the APAC CFO, supporting regional financial leadership, prioritization and decision‑making.
Represent the APAC CFO, as required, in meetings with CFO International, Group Finance, APAC Leadership, and other senior stakeholders.
Support engagement with the APAC CEO and Leadership Team, providing clear financial insight, challenge and perspective.
Management Reporting & Financial Narrative
Lead the end‑to‑end APAC management reporting cycle, including monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc executive reporting.
Drive monthly forecasting and annual operating and strategic planning cycles for APAC, from beginning to end.
Own the interpretation and synthesis of APAC financial performance, ensuring a clear, consistent and decision‑ready narrative.
Review and enhance Group‑produced reporting packs by adding insight, context, and regional perspective relevant to APAC leadership.
Develop and present high‑quality revenue and salary walks / bridges, clearly articulating performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
Coordinate monthly Risks and Opportunities process, driving accountability and ownership through data and analytics.
Group Finance Interface & Analytical Leadership
Act as the primary APAC interface for Group Finance on management reporting, analysis and data requests.
Lead regional coordination and responses to Group Finance requests.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and credibility of APAC submissions, while constructively challenging assumptions and requests where appropriate.
Stakeholder Management Across APAC
Work closely with sub‑regional CFOs to gather inputs, align assumptions, challenge drivers, and ensure high‑quality outputs.
Balance strong collaboration with constructive challenge to drive consistency, discipline and insight across the region.
Help orchestrate regional finance timelines, processes, and cross‑functional dependencies.
Projects, Transformation & Digitization
Lead or support regional finance projects, including reporting transformation, simplification, and digitization initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement in reporting efficiency, data quality, automation and analytical capability.
Support broader transformation initiatives across Finance and the business as and when required.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience.
Accounting qualification is good to have.
Insurance and/or Brokerage or wider Financial Services experience is a must have.
Proven experience in a finance leadership role within a complex, regional or global organization.
Strong background in management reporting, FP&A, performance analysis and storytelling.
Experience working closely with senior business leaders and global finance teams.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across geographies and cultures.
