Introduction
As a Junior Developer, you will be the person who creates and test software from start to finish. The software developer works closely with project managers and other team members to discuss and analyze clients’ requests and requirements to determine the best course of action to create the application or website.
As a Junior Drupal developer, you will be responsible for creating custom themes and modules. You'll also be responsible for updating existing Drupal websites and troubleshooting website issues. In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a strong understanding of Drupal, as well as experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Key Skills
We’re looking for candidates with industry experience in:

1+ years working in Drupal 9.x, 10.x on Acquia SAAS Platform.

Experience includes custom module and plugin development using configuration management.

Experience using templating and rendering system, including Twig templates.
-
Able to run Drush command line/shell scripting.
-
Utilize the Drupal theming system to develop templates and pre-process functions.
-
Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
-
Experience with source control tools like Git, Code Commit, SVN
-
Experience with Node and JS toolkits like Gulp, Grunt, or Webpack
-
Able to do integration testing for cross-browser and cross-devices.

Able to work in Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Sketch, Figma, Miro.

Excellent knowledge of JavaScript including use of a framework (e.g. Angular, Vue, React)

Good testing and debugging skills.

Familiar with SEO, Analytics and Accessibility implementations.

API Integration knowledge

B.S. or higher studies in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Skills

CSS/JS/GSAP animations experience
-
Frontend CSS pre-compilers such as SCSS
-
Use of task runners, code processors and npm scripts.

Familiar with Facebook and Twitter APIs.

Familiar with PWA and server-side rendering technologies.
