Overview

ATM is looking for resources to strengthen its Construction and Armament Department. We offer the opportunity to work on concrete and innovative projects that contribute to the development of Milan's public transport infrastructure.

In a view of continuous improvement of our services, we are therefore looking for resources to be included in the maintenance and processing of metals, as a blacksmith.

Main activities

• Maintenance, replacement or repair interventions on structures or ferrous material such as doors, locks, sliding guides, sheet metal coverings, windows, gates and railings, also using MEW;

• Processing on machinery and equipment that require skills in metalworking and, more rarely, plastic;

• Small painting activities;

• Emergency intervention services for urgent repairs or emergencies.

Required qualifications

• Training in metalworking, craftsmanship and sheet metal work (Diploma or Qualification);

• Excellent understanding of technical mechanical drawing and knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD drawing;

• Experience in managing repair and maintenance interventions and work on locks, doors, gates, sliding guides, gates and railings, preferably

• also with the aid of MEW;

• Knowledge and use of processing and tools for welding (MIG/MAG -TIG) and/or tinning;

• Knowledge and use of measuring instruments and tools such as pliers, hammers, bending machines and calenders;

• Knowledge of metallurgy, weldability of metals and technologies related to the processing of ferrous alloys;

• Knowledge of the Office Package.

Completing the profile

• Possession of the welding license;

• Knowledge of the use of PPE and basic safety elements;

• Availability for on-call duty for emergency interventions;

• Collaboration and team spirit;

• Analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail.

What We Offer

• Permanent contract with a basic gross annual salary of approximately € 27,900;

• 13th and 14th month's salary;

The employment relationship will be governed by R.D. 148/1931 and by the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Public Transport Workers.

Furthermore, the possession of the requirements referred to in art. 1 or belonging to the protected categories referred to in art. 18 of law 68/99 constitute preferential titles.
