Within the Aircraft Technologies & Systems Unit, we are looking for a Static and dynamic structural loads analyst for our Venegono Superiore office.
The resource will carry out all the specialist activities falling within the responsibility of the Loads&Aeroelasticity Unit - Aircraft Division for aspects relating to the determination, by analysis and testing, and related Certification processes (Civil and Military), of static and dynamic structural loads, in flight and on the ground, with particular reference to those relating to the typical structures of transport/training aircraft.
Main activities:
Define project specifications and requirements for the determination of structural loads
Calculate structural loads by analysis and support related experimental verification activities, on the ground and in flight.
Issue technical documentation suitable for transmitting loads to other internal and external bodies (Certifying Bodies)
Analyze problems related to in-service aircraft
Educational qualification: Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, preferably with a structures specialization
Seniority: Junior (previous experience in similar positions is a preferential title)
Technical knowledge and skills:
Having passed exams related to the subjects: Aerodynamics, Aircraft Dynamics, Aeroelasticity, Structural Design, Control Systems
Knowledge for the creation of static and dynamic models for the design of aeronautical structures (FEM, etc.)
Basic knowledge of aeronautical design and certification standards in the fixed-wing aircraft sector.

Language skills:
Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
IT skills:
Windows/UNIX/LINUX operating systems

CAD systems (e.g. Catia)
Programming in FORTRAN (preferential)
NASTRAN/PATRAN.
Other:
Availability for national and international travel.
