Senior
The resource will join the Middleware team and will be responsible for administering Kubernetes container clusters, with a focus on operational continuity, security, platform optimization, provisioning, and cluster automation.
In addition to technical responsibilities, the candidate will manage project and operational activities, including patching, configuration, vulnerability management, and advanced troubleshooting (L3).
The resource will autonomously prepare and plan changes with stakeholders, present them to the approval committee, and execute them in compliance with company processes.
The candidate must have a solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Service Requests.
Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Administer and configure Kubernetes clusters (Red Hat OpenShift, Broadcom VKS, Mirantis)
Perform patching and vulnerability management, and provide advanced troubleshooting (L3), including application-related issues
Plan and implement changes in complex environments, including preparing documentation and facilitating approval-committee discussions
Support migration and upgrade projects
Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams
Use automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Helm, Node.js, Bash, Argo CD)
Mobility & Work Flexibility
Availability to travel internationally (Europe)
Hybrid working scheme (onsite, remote based on country regulations)
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and skills :
Degree in technical-scientific disciplines or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience administering Kubernetes
Knowledge of Kubernetes environments and enterprise architectures
Understanding of Kubernetes networking and load balancing
Ability to work in complex and distributed contexts
Good knowledge of English (B2 level or higher); Italian, German, Czech, or French is a plus
Experience in enterprise environments and processes
Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Broadcom VKS, Mirantis, GitLab, Helm, Node.js, Bash, Argo CD
Skills in Kubernetes application build and deployment

What we offer
We offer employment at the V level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.
Gross annual salary ranging between 45K€ and 55K€. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
