Junior site supervisor

This is what you will do

As a junior site supervisor, you will, under the supervision of an experienced site supervisor, guide the construction and installation of tanks at customer locations with an assigned project team. A customer project can range from building a single 2000m3 tank at a chemical factory in Norway to a large project of 20 tanks for an oil terminal in the Botlek or another large port. Together with the senior site supervisor, you are responsible for managing the external service mechanics and employees of crane and transport companies. In practice, you will work as a working foreman, allowing you to regularly use your welding skills. In addition, in cooperation with the senior site supervisor and the project manager, you monitor the deployment of materials, machines, and personnel capacity. You coordinate the work at the customer location, taking into account technical specifications and quality and safety standards. In short, a challenging position in which you get the chance to develop into an experienced site supervisor!

This is you

• You work as an external service mechanic or welder, or you have just completed your technical education;

• You have a VCA-VOL certificate or are willing to obtain one;

• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages;

• You are good at planning & organizing and have strong problem-solving skills. You are also customer and results-oriented, stress-resistant, and a good team player;

• You are willing to travel internationally regularly and stay abroad for longer periods.
