YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a Network Security Specialist to join Kirey’s CyberSecurity team.
The selected professional will be involved in complex enterprise projects and will contribute to the implementation, configuration, operational management, and continuous evolution of network and perimeter security solutions.
The role involves close collaboration with networking, system administration, and cybersecurity teams within a dynamic, meritocratic environment structured around Agile methodologies.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience who are looking to strengthen their expertise in Network Security while working with enterprise-grade infrastructures and advanced technologies.
Key responsibilities will include:
Implementing, configuring, and managing Network Security solutions
Managing and administering Firewalls and VPN technologies
Maintaining and enhancing existing security infrastructures
Monitoring, analyzing, and handling security-related events
Supporting security incident management and remediation activities
Collaborating with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to identify and implement effective technical solutions
Troubleshooting network and security-related issues
Creating and maintaining technical documentation
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the proper operation of managed Network Security solutions
Monitor the health and performance of security infrastructures
Investigate and analyze security events and incidents
Configure, maintain, and optimize perimeter security technologies
Support vulnerability management and remediation activities
Collaborate with technical teams on operational and project-related initiatives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical and operational documentation
REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years of experience in Network Security
Hands-on experience managing Firewalls and VPN solutions
Experience with at least one major network security platform, such as Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco Security, or equivalent technologies
Good understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
Familiarity with IDS/IPS and perimeter security technologies
Strong troubleshooting skills in networking and security environments
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and incident management processes
Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent professional experience
English proficiency at B2 level or above
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Cisco FirePower
Experience with Palo Alto Networks solutions
Experience with WAF, EDR, or XDR technologies
Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, Elastic, or equivalent tools
Linux administration skills
Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities
Knowledge of Cloud Security technologies and best practices
Familiarity with SASE solutions
Experience with F5 BIG-IP technologies
Knowledge of Arista Networks, VXLAN/EVPN, and CloudVision
Relevant certifications such as CCNA Security, NSE, CEH, CISSP, PCNSA/PCNSE, or equivalent
Experience working in complex enterprise environments
Previous experience in Agile organizations
