The Merchant Category Manager will be responsible for managing voucher product operations and sales strategies for specific merchant categories (QSR/CVS/F&B). This position requires planning and executing promotional campaigns on e-commerce platforms, designing attractive voucher offers, and coordinating e-commerce marketing resources to maximize sales performance. This role involves close collaboration with the MAM team, Sales, Marketing, and Product departments to ensure market competitiveness of vouchers and achievement of sales targets.

Job Content:

• VOUCHER OPERATIONS & SALES STRATEGY:

  • Manage planning and execution of voucher products for specific categories (QSR/CVS/F&B)
  • Design competitive promotional offers (e.g., Starbucks coffee 20% off, Wang Steak NT$888 for NT$1000 voucher, McDonald's burger with free Coke)
  • Develop innovative voucher combinations based on market trends and consumer demand

• E-COMMERCE PLATFORM SALES MANAGEMENT:

  • Plan and execute seasonal promotional campaigns on e-commerce platforms
  • Coordinate and arrange e-commerce marketing resources (e.g., homepage banners, EDM, social media promotions)
  • Monitor voucher sales performance on e-commerce platforms and adjust strategies in real-time

• REVENUE GROWTH & TARGET ACHIEVEMENT:

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue growth for assigned categories
  • Analyze sales data to identify business growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize voucher conversion rates

• MARKET ANALYSIS & COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor promotional activities in assigned categories
  • Provide market insights to support product development and marketing strategies
  • Analyze consumer purchasing behavior to optimize voucher design

• CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION:

  • Work closely with MAM team to ensure commercial terms support promotional campaign execution
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to plan integrated marketing communication strategies
  • Coordinate with e-commerce platform team to ensure smooth campaign launch and execution
  • Partner with Product team to optimize voucher system functionality

• MERCHANT COORDINATION & COMMUNICATION:

  • Assist MAM team in communicating promotional campaign details with merchants
  • Ensure smooth merchant-side campaign cooperation and execution
  • Collect merchant feedback to continuously optimize collaboration models

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in relevant fields such as e-commerce, retail category management, e-voucher operations, promotional campaign planning, or digital marketing

• University graduate; a major in business, marketing, or related fields is preferred

• Experience in e-commerce platform operations with expertise in seasonal campaign planning and execution

• Familiarity with one or more of the following industries: QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), CVS (Convenience Store), F&B (Food & Beverage)

• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure managing multiple projects

• Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple promotional campaigns simultaneously

• Proficiency in data analysis with ability to make data-driven decisions

• Strong communication and coordination abilities

• Creative mindset with ability to design consumer-attractive promotional offers

• Languages: Good verbal and written English and Mandarin are required

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with e-commerce platform backend operations]

• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau)

• Understanding of voucher issuance process, including regulatory compliance, cash flow, and information flow

• Digital marketing experience (SEO, SEM, social media advertising)

• Background in consumer goods or retail industry
