Telephone Operator

Your main mission as a Telephone Operator is to provides prompt, courteous, and efficient handling of all incoming calls and assistance for outgoing calls while maintaining a positive and professional image. In addition, the Telephone Operator plays an integral part in assisting with emergencies (medical, fire, power/system failure) by contacting the designated personnel for immediate assistance.

As a Telephone Operator, What will your day-to-day work be like?:

• Handles incoming/outgoing calls in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner, according to hotel’s standard operating procedures.

• Provides clear and concise communication while assisting guests with their questions or needs.

• Responsible for clear and accurate communication with departments of the hotel.

• Assist that the operational processes are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the manuals.

• Maintains discretion and confidentiality of all calls.

• Ensure prompt, accurate, courteous service to those using telephone services.

Who is the ideal person for this position?:

Academic Qualification: Secondary School Graduate

Experience: 1 year experience in a similar position and Hotel operations.

Qualifications:

• Highly responsible & reliable

• Great communication skills

• Able to work overnight

• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

• Ability to think quickly and find solutions to issues faced daily

• Detail oriented.

• Required language, English and Spanish - Additional language is an asset
