Bartender

At JOIA Aruba by Iberostar we are looking for a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team, but before knowing more about the position, we think it's important that you learn a little about us:

Your main mission as a Bartender will be to prepare the drinks of the established offer, attend and follow up on the requests of the guests following the established hygiene and quality standards.

As a Bartender, What will your day-to-day work be like?:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the established menu and recipes.

• Greet and engage with guests, inquiring about their preferences to provide personalized drink recommendations.

• Take and process drink and snack orders promptly and accurately.

• Ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout the shift.

• Set up and maintain the bar area, including counters, equipment, glassware, and coolers.

• Turn on equipment (e.g., coffee machine), check CO2 levels, and ensure proper pressure in beverage tanks.

• Prepare garnishes, flavored waters, and cocktail decorations in advance of service.

• Clean, restock, and properly store bar tools and glassware throughout and at the end of each shift.

• Verify expiration dates and product quality, ensuring safe and consistent service.

• Comply with all hygiene, safety, and operational standards.

• Verify expiration date of the dosing bottles containing products from the previous day

• He/she will give the service to all the clients always with a smile and kindness

Who is the ideal person for this position?:

Academic Qualification:

• Highschool Degree

Experience / Knowledge:

• 1 year experience in the specific position

Skills:

• Client oriented.

• Excellent service.

• High communication skills

• Fluent in English and Spanish
