The Code and Compliance Group (CCG) within Bureau Veritas North America is a specialized division focused on helping organizations navigate complex regulatory frameworks, building code requirements, and compliance standards across multiple industries and jurisdictions.
Interpretation and application of building codes (IBC, local/state/provincial codes)
NFPA standards compliance (fire safety, electrical, life safety systems)
Environmental regulations and permitting
Occupational safety standards (OSHA, provincial equivalents)
Industry-specific compliance frameworks
Compliance audits against applicable codes and regulations
Gap analysis and remediation planning
Pre-inspection readiness reviews
Documentation and record verification
Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Code interpretation guidance for complex or ambiguous requirements
Design review and compliance verification during project development
Regulatory pathway planning for new facilities or modifications
